Developmental and behavioral functioning often associated with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), such as sensory sensitivity, aggression, and sleep disorders, may be linked to a nonverbal manifestation of gastrointestinal symptoms, according to a study recently published in Autism Research.
