Skill: beginning and ending sounds
Materials: Printable game board (one per child) and printable icon cards (1 set per game, scissors, crayons, die
Prepare: Print out materials and cut picture cards apart.
Play: Each player needs their own game board. The first player picks a picture card and names the picture. Then, the player says the beginning or ending sound. If correct, the player rolls the die and colors in the number of circles on their game board beginning at the start circle. The next player takes a turn and colors in the circles based on his/her roll. Play continues until a player reaches the end circle and wins.
