Job Summary: Pediastaff is seeking a highly motivated and experienced BCBA to join our dynamic team. The BCBA will lead and supervise the implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients with a variety of developmental and behavioral challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the ability to collaborate with other therapists, caregivers, school team members, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sell our services to school districts and help manage ongoing school partnerships
Assist in the hiring, training, and mentoring of new therapy staff members
Supervise a group of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in accordance with requirements from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients based on ABA principles and techniques
Oversee the implementation of behavior intervention plans by providing ongoing training, support, and supervision to therapy staff and caregivers
Monitor and track progress of clients through data collection and analysis, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other school therapy team members to ensure treatment goals are aligned and effectively implemented
Qualifications:
Must hold a current and valid BCBA certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA in a similar setting with supervisory experience
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques, including experience with Verbal Behavior and Natural Environment Teaching (NET)
Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
Ability to lead and supervise a team of therapy staff members
Proficient in data collection and analysis
Familiar with state and federal regulations and laws related to ABA therapy
