New school-based opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist in the vicinity of Kankakee/Custer Park.

Speech-Language Pathology position to start monthly.
* Position starts immediately and runs monthly~ with the opportunity to extend.
* Hours are 7:30 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday
* 1-2 years previous school experience.

* This day school provides academic and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 3 to 22 with needs including Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Other Health Impairments
* Students are supported by a team of professionals that include School Administrators, Special Education Teachers, and Paraprofessionals, Therapist and Related Service Providers
* Seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech services in both group and individual sessions in accordance with students IEP’s

Job Duties Include:

*Providing services to assigned students based on Individual Education Programs
*Consulting and collaborate with student’s team to support students’ educational goals
*Preparing, attending, and support IEP meetings
*Providing training and instruction to staff as needed
