We are recruiting for a Speech-Language Pathologist for a new non-public school for students with disabilities in Concord, CA, kindergarten through 8th grade. These are students with grade level or just below grade level academics. The school will open in August and will have 12-24 students, so it’s developing. It can be part-time or full-time. If the hours the school has in terms of services are not enough to fill the full-time hours, there is still plenty of other work including clinic, virtual, or a second school (therapist’s choice). Typical school hours for the school. Hours may vary depending if you want to work in other settings outside of the school. There will not be a crazy caseload that is not manageable. Option of hourly pay or annual salary.
Full-time benefits are a reimbursement of $450 a month for medical insurance, this tends to work well for our therapists as they can typically get their individual insurance covered when they buy it on their own. There’s an IRA with a 3% match, CEU reimbursement, Sick time, Vacation time, and occasional employee appreciation perks.
