Four Openings! – BCBA, two SLPs and SLPA
Fantastic opportunities for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, 2 SLPs (lead and staff level), and an SLPA to work in a High School in the Fort Washington area for the 2016-2017 school year. This historical community is named after Fort Washington, the only defensive fort protecting Washington, D.C in 1809. Now, it is a beautiful hidden treasure with riverfront homes, two marinas, two community pools, and National Golf Club.
* Staff SLP position is in a High School with a caseload of 50 students.
* Lead SLP will supervise an SLPA and manage caseload of 60-65 students.
* The BCBA will work throughout the county and will work primary through high school.
* Great location south of Washington, DC with a lower cost of living – or an easy reverse commute from D.C.
* In addition to treatments, you’ll do some evals and standardized testing for new kids needing IEP’s.
* Common diagnoses include autism spectrum disorders, LD, MR, CP, etc. The majority of the caseloads are students with language and/or articulation impairments.
* Inclusion is desired, but some pull out is used as well.
* This is a full-time benefited position for the 2016-2017 school year
Qualifications: Must hold appropriate Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders,, Speech Language Pathology, or Applied Behavior Analysis, and a current state license (or be eligible for same). CCC-SLP preferred but not required.
